227 - Rugged Maniac and standing desk

I entered myself in the Rugged Maniac 5k obstacle course in Portland on June 1st.  This will be my first test and I want to try to do a race event once every few months.

I should be under 220 by then, which will be awesome.  I'm feeling great and the recent changes to my diet and exercise have made a huge different.

I have switched to a standing desk (just making a tall Ikea desk work) for the last two days and I really like it.  I need to modify it a little to make it work for the long term, but I like that I'm adding in some "exercise" of sorts while working.  I've also been doing something active for a few minute every hour (have an alarm set on my phone to remind me every hour).  Usually I'll do lunges and some push-ups, sometimes jog in place, etc.  That seems to keep my energy level and metabolism up all day.
